Archie is a very fun character that helps us bring the youngest closer to listening and practicing the English language. Through games, songs, dramatizations, and the use of new technologies, children are introduced to the everyday vocabulary of the world around them.

This subject is part of the STEAM disciplines, as with the construction of robots, students develop creative and problem-solving skills, computational and engineering thinking. Children in I3 and I4 use Lego Education material, and in I5 we work with the Kubo robot.

This classroom is a symbolic play space that responds to the child's need to know their peers, to live everyday situations playfully, and to experiment.

Habits and routines are guidelines that help children structure and orient themselves. The acquisition of different habits allows them to be more autonomous and makes it possible for them to have a positive coexistence; likewise, they are necessary in the acquisition of new learning. Habits we work on at school: eating habits, personal autonomy habits, hygiene, work habits, and social habits.

Emotional Education takes on great importance in our classrooms. In order to develop emotional intelligence in students, we work daily on the ability to be aware of their own emotions, the emotions of others, and also to be able to manage them.

Intercycle Environments

Weekly, we conduct 8 environments where cycle children mix to share knowledge among equals and work together. We deal with freer play environments and others, more directed, but always respecting the evolutionary level of each child. Currently, we have the following environments: Experimentation Workshop, Move your body, art, Symbolic Play, Loose Parts, Experimentation, Garden, and Story Workshop.

School Swimming

The practice of swimming benefits children physically, psychologically, and socially. Likewise, they acquire autonomy and confidence in their abilities. At Ateneu, we offer the possibility of swimming during school hours at the Salvador Gimeno Sports Center.
