The Ateneu Instructiu Association of Sant Joan Despí

The Ateneu Instructiu is a non-profit association, founded in 1882 thanks to the initiative of a group of families committed to the idea of offering quality education and teaching to their children. Since its inception, the Ateneu has been a reference in the educational community of Sant Joan Despí, working with a model of continuous improvement that combines tradition and innovation to respond to the educational needs of each era.

Currently, the association has a school building and more than 7,000 square meters of modern facilities, where education is provided from ages 3 to 18. All this in an inclusive environment that promotes equal opportunities and respect for diversity.

With a cooperative spirit and rooted in the social and cultural fabric of the city, the Ateneu actively participates in the dynamics of Sant Joan Despí, contributing to social cohesion and community enrichment. This involvement goes beyond the school environment, promoting activities and initiatives that reinforce the integration of children and families into city life.
