📰 The Ateneu Blog: News and Solidarity Initiatives! 🤝

A collection of the most notable activities from the month of November and the great solidarity initiative that awaits us. Get ready for science, road education, and, above all, to help!

🚦 Respect and Safety: 6th Graders Take the Wheel

This week we have focused on road education. The 6th graders went out to the playground to participate in a practical circuit designed to raise their awareness of the importance of traffic rules.

This activity not only teaches them to be safer pedestrians and future drivers but also fosters essential values such as respect and responsibility in public spaces.

🔬 Closing of Science Week: Two Weeks of Active Learning

We conclude two intense weeks dedicated to Science!

From the youngest in the school to the older students, all classes have participated in various activities that have sparked their scientific curiosity. We have combined classroom experiments with interesting outings organized by the City Council.

Thanks to this initiative, our students have been able to acquire various practical and meaningful learnings. Science is not only in the classrooms, but around us!

🌟 Help us fill the Solidarity Market of 4th ESO! (With a very special destination)

We are very proud of the 4th ESO students! From the subject of Vocational Training and Guidance (FOL), they are organizing a Solidarity Second-Hand Market with a clear goal: to raise funds for the Association of Deaf People ACAPS.

What will you find at the Market?

Books and Stories

Toys, Board Games, and Dolls

Clothes, Pajamas, and Costumes

Everything at symbolic prices, with the guarantee that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to ACAPS. Items that are not sold will be donated to a collection point to ensure their reuse.

➡️ How Can You Collaborate?

This initiative is a success with your participation, which is divided into two crucial phases:

1. Before the Market: The Collection of Items

We need your help to fill our tables! We ask that you bring those items you no longer use, as long as they are in good condition for a new life.

Requested Material

Conditions

Toys, Board Games, and Dolls

Clean, complete, and functional.

Clothes, Pajamas, and Costumes

Clean, without stains, no tears and in good condition.

Books and Stories

With all the pages and without tearing or damaging.

Collection Days: November 25 and 27

Time: Between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM

Location: Lobby of the Athenaeum

2. During the Market: Come Shop!

Your presence is the key to success! Encourage yourselves to make your solidarity purchases and support these young entrepreneurs.

Market Day: December 2

Location: Lobby of the Athenaeum

Open to: The Entire Educational Community

This project promotes solidarity, teamwork, and the reuse of objects, essential values in the education of our students. With your help, we will transform objects into opportunities.

🎄 Let's Decorate the School with the Magic of Christmas ✨

To finish with a bit of excitement, we have started decorating the school's lobby! We are preparing a well-decorated atmosphere full of Christmas spirit to welcome the upcoming holidays. You will be able to see it soon!
