Last stage of compulsory basic education.

Begins when primary ends and goes from 12 to 16 years old.

Four academic years organized into different subjects.

2022-23 School Year: The new law, LOMLOE, applies to 1st and 3rd of ESO. Next year it will also apply to 2nd and 4th of ESO.

Objectives

• Provide an education that ensures solid personal development.
• Acquire cultural and social competencies related to oral expression and comprehension, writing, calculation, and solving everyday life problems.
• Develop social skills with autonomy and critical thinking.
• Be prepared for the exercise of rights and obligations as citizens.
