Monthly summary — September 2025
New dining hall, start of High School and back-to-school information meetings.
New dining hall
This year we are opening a renewed and innovative dining hall! We have made structural improvements, updated equipment and serving line, painted the space, improved soundproofing, added new educational signage and created new calm and emotional well‑being areas to offer all students a more innovative, comfortable and welcoming place.
The dining hall is much more than a place to eat: it’s a space where healthy habits are built and moments of togetherness are created.
We are also starting a new stage with Scolarest, a provider with a proven track record that we have evaluated by visiting several schools where they already operate.
The new project is based on:
- Promoting healthy habits and fostering autonomy.
- Integrating the dining hall within the school’s educational project, working on values such as respect, sustainability and emotional education.
- Offering varied, attractive and age‑appropriate meals.
- Promoting educational projects such as Fish Revolution, Stop Food Waste, Taste the World or Kalma.
- Prioritising local, seasonal and organic products, collaborating with local suppliers such as the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat.
- Valuing lunchtime as an extension of the classroom to keep educating at every moment.
- Working closely with families, maintaining open and fluent communication.
All this reflects our commitment to a dining service aligned with Ateneu’s values and the shared goal of caring for the body, mind and heart of our students and staff.
Start of High School
High School students began their classes in Sciences/Technology and Humanities/Social Sciences, facing the final stretch of preparation for university entrance exams. Dual Diploma students also started with their admission test.
We wish all students focus and encouragement for this important stage of their education. There are still places available — contact us for more information.
Information meetings
September and October are the months for back‑to‑school information meetings between families and tutors. We present the competency goals we plan to work on with students throughout the year.
These meetings are important for families: we share the educational project for the school year, answer questions and visit the children’s spaces — full of surprises!
